Body Heather Ann Warner of Tulsa passed away March 10, 2022. She was born Nov. 1, 1969, in Oklahoma City. Heather graduated from Union High School in Tulsa and worked for Goodwill for 19 years.

Body Funeral services for Dorothy Faye Garrett of Cogar were held Saturday at Canaan Baptist Church, with burial following at the Springcreek Cemetery west of Minco. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Body David Lee Eaton, 67, died suddenly Wednesday, March 9 in Oklahoma City. He was born Aug. 19, 1954, in El Paso, Texas, and later moved to El Reno. He graduated from El Reno High School in 1972.

Body Garrett F. “Bud” Miles, 80, of Norman, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in Houston, Texas. He was born Jan. 25, 1942, in El Reno. Bud married Julia Smith on June 25, 1966, in El Reno. In 1967, Bud volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army.

Body Funeral services for Deven Renee Blackwolf Johnson were held Thursday at the Concho Emergency Response Center with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial was in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Body Funeral services for Loren “Skip” Leonard Ray of Calumet were held Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Calumet with Tiffany Nagel Monroe officiating. Burial followed in the Sunset Cemetery in Geary, under the direction of Turner Funeral Home of Hinton.

Body Maurice Ellsworth Thompson Jr. (Buddy) died peacefully March 3, 2022, at his home in El Reno while surrounded by his loving family. He was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Chicago, Ill., and a few years later embarked on a train ride to Calumet, Okla., where he resided for over 70 years.

Body Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Darrell Anthony Crone, age 42, of Mustang, on Feb. 27, 2022. Darrell was born June 13, 1979. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; his sister, Jennifer; and his parents, Lester and Marilyn Crone.

Body Memorial services for Nelson Erwin Clark will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church Brown Event Center in Geary with Rev. Richard Cox and Rev. Wendell Prim officiating. Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Home. Nelson passed away Jan.

Body On the morning of February 12, 2022, Eugene R. Slaughter, 81, was taken home to our Lord, ending his 10-year battle to cancer. He was born June 1, 1940, in El Reno, where he graduated from El Reno High School and went on to finish his master’s degree at Oklahoma University.
