Brenda Hargis passed away the morning of Aug. 18, 2023, in Oklahoma City with family by her side.

She was born Nov. 1, 1950, in Leggett, Calif., to parents, Remo and Mary Villanova.

She attended school in Willis, Calif.

She was married to the love of her life, Ray Hargis for 35 years.

Brenda is survived by her loving daughters, Dawn Mayer (Dwayne), Sheila Hargis and Jennifer Hays; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Donald Gene Blackwolf

Body

Donald Gene Blackwolf, 86, passed away Aug. 21, 2023, at home surrounded by his family in Anadarko.

He was born in Clinton on March 9, 1937, to John Joe and Katherine (Parrish) Blackwolf.

Donald attended Concho Boarding School and graduated from El Reno High School. He joined the Air Force on Oct. 14, 1956, and came home on Oct. 15, 1962. He received the Good Conduct Medal. He retired from Concho Boarding School as a boys dorm parent. He was seen as a father to those he coached and mentored.

Kyle Heath Moss

Kyle Heath Moss, 42, of El Reno, passed away Aug. 15, 2023. He was born April 18, 1981, in Stillwater to Mike and Francie Moss.

Kyle never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He was a loyal friend who would drop everything to help someone in need.

His favorite place to be was with his family or in a hog barn. Kyle was known for his warm hugs, infectious smile and twinkle in his eyes.

Graveside services for Harry Dean Morlan will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18 at the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Harry died Aug. 13, 2023, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

He was born July 2, 1953, in Clinton. He lived in Watonga before moving to El Reno in 2016.

He attended the Watonga First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling.

Roland Willmon

Body

Graveside services with military honors for Roland Milton Willmon, a former Minco resident, were held Monday at the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Roland passed away Aug. 8, 2023, in Florida. He was born Oct. 23, 1926, in King, Ark. He lived in the Minco area all his life before moving to Florida in 2018.

Thomas Eugene Harmon

Thomas Eugene Harmon was born Feb. 29, 1948, in Laverne, Okla., to Harvie Boyd Harmon and Lelah Bonita McCarty.

As a youth he was known for being very ornery, getting into trouble wherever he went. He graduated high school as valedictorian (of his class of three) from Knowles High where he earned letters in both basketball and choir.

He was drafted into the Army at the age of 19 and attended basic training at Fort Polk, La. He was quickly shipped off to war and served two tours in Vietnam as a crew chief.

Prayer service for Louis George Slater will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Benson Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Lance Warren and Deacon Lloyd Menz officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow at the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Bradley was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Bethany where he was chairman of the Evangelism committee and also a missionary.

Angeline Pedro

Wake for Angeline Pedro of El Reno will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16. Both services will be at the Concho Emergency Response Center.

Angeline died Aug. 8, 2023, at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon. She was born Jan. 21, 1955, in Clinton and was raised in Calumet. She was assistant to the controller for the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes and a member of the Native American Church.

Ted “Wayne” Mehan, also beautifully remembered as Teddy Wayne, Wayne, Papa, Pappy or Dad, was born on August 31, 1946, in Binger, Oklahoma, to his loving parents, Ted Joseph and Felta Lee Mehan.

Ted Wayne Mehan will be remembered by those who knew him and loved him deeply as the most kind and compassionate soul anyone has ever had the honor of knowing.

His gentle and quiet demeanor accompanied by his selfless and passionately hardworking nature was one for the history books.
