Linda Estep

Linda Jean Estep, age 77, of El Reno, passed away peacefully in her home on May 3, 2026. She was born Dec. 7, 1948, to her beloved parents, James Dale and Lila Belle Clark. They made their home on a farm outside of Union City. Linda was blessed with three siblings, Alan, Dianna and Ronda. She graduated from Union City High School Class of 1967. 

On Oct. 5, 1968, Linda married Roy Wayne Estep. Together they made a home in El Reno, where they raised two daughters, Shelly and Shanna.

Kathleen “Leener” Rezner Douglas

There are people in life who hold things together — not loudly, not for recognition, but because they simply care. Kathleen “Leener” Rezner Douglas, 71, was that person. For El Reno’s fire station, for her family, and for her circle of friends, she was the one who showed up. She passed away on March 22, 2026, in her home, surrounded by those she loved.

Born on July 31, 1929, in El Reno, Oklahoma, Jack came of age during the hardships of the Great Depression ― an experience that forged in him a quiet resilience, independence, and an unshakeable belief in the value of hard work and determination.

Ramona Scott

Body

Services for Ramona Lou Scott of Minco will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5 at the Tuttle Church of Christ, with burial following at the Evergreen Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Ramona passed away April 30, 2026. She was born March 22, 1929, in Minco. She would become known as Granny to everyone who knew her. She threw the paper route for 19 years in Minco until she was well into her 70s.

Granny was a member of Minco Church of Christ for over 50 years, and later the Tuttle Church of Christ.

Tyrique Rhodes

Body

A wake for Tyrique Jarome Rhodes will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 at the Concho Emergency Response Center. Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, May 7, also at the center. Burial will be in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.  

Tyrique died April 23, 2026, in Oklahoma City. 

Nettie Jo McGrew

Body

Services for Nettie Jo McGrew of Minco were held Wednesday, April 29 at Minco United Methodist Church with burial following at the Friendship Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Jo died April 24, 2026, in Chickasha. She was born Aug. 8, 1943, in Pocasset. She was raised in the Pocasset community, graduating from Pocasset High School in 1961.

She moved to Minco from Oklahoma City in 1966 and was a member of Minco United Methodist Church. Jo was employed as a cake decorator with Beachlers Supermarket in El Reno for 32 years.

El Reno residents John Philip Sales Jr. and Joy Cathryn Sales passed away at the Tuttle Care Center, John on April 21, 2026, and Cathie on April 23, 2026.

Married April 17, 1971, they were members of the Southgate Pentecostal Church in Moore.

Jerald Gene Bollinger, 87, of Chanute, Kansas, whose life was deeply rooted in the land he loved, passed away on April 12, 2026, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 5, 1938, in Union City, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Allene (Hale) Bollinger.

Jerald Bollinger, a lifelong rancher, farmer and entrepreneur, passed away surrounded by those who knew and respected his strong work ethic and love for life.

Brian Jamison Broyles

Body

Brian Jamison Broyles, 37 years old, from Oklahoma City, passed away April 19, 2026, after a lengthy illness.

Brian was born Dec. 14, 1988, in Oklahoma City to Jamie and Markita Broyles of El Reno. He was raised, baptized and married in the Presbyterian Church. He attended grade school and high school in El Reno and college at OU, where he obtained a commercial pilot’s license and instrument instructor certification.

Betty Blackwolf

Body

An all-night wake for Betty Lynn Blackwolf will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22. Both services will be at the Concho Emergency Response Center with burial in the Concho Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
