Posting its second highest point total in conference play, Redlands Community College women’s basketball team completed a regular-season sweep of Connors State College.

The Cougars, winners of four straight, move to 19-4 on the season with an 84-51 win over Connors State. Redlands remains in fourth in the NJCAA Region 2 standings at 6-3 but moved to within a game and a half of third place.

In the win over the Cowboys, Redlands was 34-of-70 from the floor for 49 percent.

Included in those numbers was a 7-of-26 effort from the 3-point arc for 27 percent.

Connors State College’s offense seems to have the number of the defense from Redlands Community College men’s basketball team, posting a second triple-digit effort against RCC.

The Cowboys 103-97 win over Redlands was the second highest point total allowed by the Redlands defense, three points shy of the 106 scored against RCC early last month. It was the third 100-point game allowed by the Cougars in league play.

Brent Ellis Carder, 48, passed away Feb. 7, 2026, in Oklahoma City. He was born April 19, 1977, to Dr. Kent E Carder and Priscilla Carder of El Reno. He attended El Reno schools and graduated from El Reno High School in 1995. He was raised in the First Baptist Church of El Reno and carried a deep love for Jesus throughout his life.  

Brent married Danyail Cody on March 27, 2005. He was a devoted husband and stepfather to Dagan Langley and Dax Langley.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Kent E Carder and his brother, Jeff Carder.
