Castrop family gathers for 99th birthday
Dan Castrop celebrated his 99th birthday Sunday with family and friends.
The day was a gathering of five generations of the Castrop family and featured pizza, cake, pie and a cold beer for the honoree.

El Reno High School’s Speech and Debate Team has attended several tournaments so far this year and has qualified multiple events to regionals.
The following students and their events are headed to regionals:

The El Reno Wranglers met recently for their second meeting of the year with Julie Huber opening the meeting.
Club Queen Trisha Duncan led in the flag salute, while Huber offered prayer before the potluck dinner.
There were 20 members present.
The group held discussions regarding rodeo expenses, playdays, trail rides and parades.
It was noted that Andi Holland, director of Savanna Station, will be guest speaker at the club’s next meeting set for 7 p.m. March 5 at the 4-H Building.
