Redlands Community College student Zach Geisler of Lomega makes a swing Monday at the Legion Park courts. Geisler and two friends were taking advantage of the 60-degree weather to get in some games. Temperatures were expected to drop into the 40s Tuesday with a chance of rain, sleet and snow. It will remain cooler through Friday.

Cheyenne and Arapaho leaders heard last week about proposed legislation designed to help find missing Native American women as well as efforts to better protect children.

C&A Gov. Reggie Wassana hosted the C&A Leadership Luncheon at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Oklahoma City.

The event was attended by elected C&A leaders as well as government officials within the Tribes. Also in attendance were leaders from the Kiowa, Pottawatomie and Apache Tribes.
