El Reno's Heritage Express Trolley should be offering riders a cool trip through the historic downtown area after the air conditioning units on the vintage car are serviced.
Vicki Proctor, museum director, said it took awhile to find a technician able to work on the three units. Ky Jones of Patriot RV in Fort Cobb arrived last week to bring the AC units back online.
The trolley, originally built in 1924, is celebrating its 20th year of operation in El Reno. It's the only rail-based trolley in the state. Proctor said some new drivers are learning the ropes and should be available this fall to carry tourists and passengers along the route.
