For the first time this season, Redlands Community College women’s basketball team is trying to play itself out of a twogame losing streak after dropping a close 73-72 game at Western Oklahoma State College. Redlands slipped to 18-4 on the season with the loss after WOSU outscored the Cougars 27-21 in the fourth quarter.

Three members competed in the Duncan Invitational Tournament, with Jacilyn Pannell named tournament champion in monologue, McKenzie Stewart as champion in standard oratory and Kylie Bailey earning the first-place medal in prose. In addition to all three winning their events, the students also amassed enough points to bring home the third-place sweepstakes plaque in Class 3A.
