El Reno jumps classes to face 6A Norman North, falls 10-2

Body Stepping up a classification for just the second time this season, El Reno High School’s baseball team dropped a 10-2 road game last week to Class 6A’s Norman North.The loss moves El Reno to 1-1 against the state’s largest classification and 14-9-2 on the season.

Body Memorial service for Haydon Shrum of Wakita will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at the El Reno Cemetery with Taylor Shrum officiating.Haydon passed away Feb. 28, 2025. He was born June 2, 1963, in Siloam Springs, Ark.
