Switch the TV away from the news, it’s worth the effort

Body

With news channels on 24/7, we can all be overwhelmed.

This is true, especially when those channels focus on one or two items, repeating the same headlines every few minutes.

The channel’s commentators all see the events in the same way. In essence, they could all seem to be talking heads, without an original thought of their own.

Too often the news media wants sensationalism, dramatizing everything, even stretching the truth or creating it without checking facts. Why let facts get in the way of a good story?

Cache had it, El Reno struggled to find it.

El Reno suffered a 12-6 loss to the Bulldogs after the Indians were held to under 100 yards of total offense and averaged less than two yards per play.

On the opposite side, Cache put more than 250 yards of offense with a 4.7 yards per snap average.
