Reports are pointing to an 8.9 percent raise for Social Security recipients. While it won’t feel like enough, it may buy you a few groceries or some gasoline. This is a big maybe on the gasoline as California reports prices of over $8 per gallon.

There is an old saying about never meeting your heroes for fear of being let down. I am sure there are many examples in which people can point to which would demonstrate this.

An exciting movement is under way in our nation. It is in accordance with former Sen. Tom Coburn’s final instructions to our nation, recorded in his last published book.
