Graveside services for Terry Lane Morris were held Oct. 24 at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Terry died Oct. 18, 2023, at his home in El Reno. He was born Jan. 2, 1947, in Kentfield, Calif.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Church of Christ minister.

Terry is survived by his wife, Linda (Lawry) Morris of the home; sons, Terry Morris Jr. of El Reno, David Morris of Aurora, Colo., and Greg Morris of Mustang; and four grandchildren.

Services for Roberta Aline Gordon of Minco were held Oct. 20 at Union City First Baptist Church, with burial following at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Roberta passed away Oct. 18, 2023, at the Corn Heritage Village. She was born Nov. 6, 1931, in Cogar. She was raised in the Cogar community, graduating from Binger High School.

She was retired from Lucent Technologies in Oklahoma City. Roberta was a member of Union City First Baptist Church and the Minco Young Women’s Club.

Beloved father and friend, Rodney Mark Bradford passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at the age of 59, surrounded by his children and those who loved him.

Mark was born in El Reno on May 4, 1964. He graduated from El Reno High School in 1982.

Anyone who knew Mark was aware of his love of electronics and technology, and that he was an absolute geek for Apple products.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and friends, fishing, flying his drones and jamming out to Pink Floyd or Rush.

Mary J. Stone of El Reno passed away Oct. 14, 2023, in El Reno. Mary was born Dec. 4, 1945.

Arrangements are pending with Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Lillie Hines will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23 at First Baptist Church, with burial to follow at the El Reno Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

Lillie passed away Oct. 17, 2023. She was born to parents, Amon Jernigan and Ida Balsiger on Oct. 20, 1925, in Navina, Okla.

Graveside services for Betty Duncan were held Thursday, Oct. 19 at the Geary Cemetery with Rev. Dick Kurtz officiating. Services were under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton.

Betty passed away Oct. 14, 2023, at St. Katharine Drexel Retirement Center. She was born Oct. 31, 1939, in Geary. She graduated from Geary High School in 1957 and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Betty began working at the First National Bank in Geary in 1968, and retired in 2005.

Funeral services for Bailey Eugene “Gene” Coats will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at Trinity Baptist Church with burial to follow in the El Reno Cemetery. Come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 19 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Gene died Oct. 14, 2023, at his home. He was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Sulphur to Orbie and Bertha Coats. He proudly graduated from high school in Wynnewood and went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Funeral services for Effie Maxine Bamburg of Fort Cobb were held Thursday, Oct. 12 at Eakly First Assembly of God Church, with burial following at the Eakly Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Maxine died Oct. 8, 2023, at the Arbor House Nursing Home in Mustang.

Jo Ann Hensley was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a Christian who loved God and family with her whole heart.

She went to her heavenly home surrounded by her family at the age of 73 in Oklahoma City, on Oct. 4, 2023, after her long battle of breast cancer.

She was born to Albert and Clara Williams of El Reno on April 6, 1950. Jo Ann has two sisters, Jeannie and Pam. She attended El Reno Public Schools Class of 1968.

Louise A. Knight was born April 10, 1930, in Banner, and went to be with the Lord Oct. 3, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edlef and Margaret Hinricksen; husband, Walter Grigsby; daughter-in-law, Michelle Knight; great-granddaughter, Tiara Knight; one brother and two sisters.
