Betty Jane Hall, 94, of El Reno, passed away peacefully in her home on Dec. 4, 2024. Betty was born Jan. 6, 1930, one of six daughters to Herbert and Cecelia Collins.
Betty grew up in Oxford, Mich., and graduated from Log Cabin High School in Clawson, Mich. Betty married her high school sweetheart, John (Jack) Hall in 1949. Of that union they were blessed with five children.
Donna Nicha Harris-Boyd was born Jan. 2, 1963, in El Reno. She graduated from Bartlesville High School in May 1981.
Donna was very talented. She was a singer, sewer, athletic, could cook any soul food dish imaginable, and was the “plant whisperer,” who could bring any dying plant back to life with her green thumb.
Funeral services for Paula Louise Conklin were held Friday, Dec. 20 at the Concho Emergency Response Center with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial was in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Paula died Dec. 16, 2024, at Tuscany Village Nursing Center in The Village. She was born Jan. 17, 1955, in Clinton and was raised in Concho. While in school, she played softball and basketball. She was a homemaker.
Graveside services for Betty Rae Elder of Oklahoma City, former Minco resident, were held Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Evergreen Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
Memorial services for Mac Alton Englebretson of Minco were held Sunday, Dec. 22 at Minco Assembly of God Church.
Mac died Dec. 14, 2024, at his home. He was born May 23, 1953, in Lubbock, Texas. He spent most of his life in the Minco community, graduating from Minco High School in 1971. He was employed as a construction supervisor until his retirement. Mac was a handyman around town, mowing lawns and odd jobs. He attended Minco Assembly of God Church.
Services for Stephany CloDean Rumley of Pocasset were held Wednesday, Dec. 18 at First Baptist Church of Verden, with burial following at the Spring Creek Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco.
CloDean died Dec. 11, 2024, at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha. She was born Nov. 13, 1951, in Mangum. She was raised in the Ada community, graduating from Latta High School in 1970.
Elinor “Ellie” Keyser LeDoux, 84, passed away peacefully on Dec. 11, 2024, in Oklahoma City.
She was born Feb. 28, 1940, in Oklahoma City to Inez and Ambrose Keyser.
Ellie loved to garden, travel with friends, meet with former classmates and most of all, spend time with her family and sisters. She was an advocate for animals and had three pets over the years.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and her favorite, the choir. Her faith and importance of family was her daily driving force for life.
Funeral services for Jennie Mae Coffey Perry will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Concho Emergency Response Center with Gerald Panana officiating. Burial will follow at Cantonment Cemetery at Canton under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Jennie died Dec. 12, 2024, in El Reno. She was born May 6, 1960, in Clinton.
She was a homemaker but worked briefly as a tribal firefighter, a driver and custodian for the Watonga Bingo Hall, and worked the bull pens for the Woodward Auction.
Carol Ann Storey, 73, of El Reno passed away Dec. 7, 2024, in El Reno.
Cremation services are in care of Wilson Funeral Home.
Services for Mark M. Lorenzen of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 11 at Red Rock United Methodist Church, with burial to follow at El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Mark died Dec. 5, 2024. He was born Dec. 2, 1951, in El Reno. He was a member of Red Rock United Methodist Church and attended Maple School, El Reno High School and played basketball at El Reno Junior College. He earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Oklahoma State University. On July 19, 1974, Mark and Denniece Adams were married in El Reno.
