Body El Reno High School’s fast-pitch softball team had its four-game win streak snapped last week with an 11-1 setback to defending state champion Piedmont. The loss dropped El Reno to 4-2 on the season and 1-1 in the District 5A-2 standings.

Body While Elvis made the phrase TCB famous, it was El Reno High School’s softball team taking care of business in its District 5A-2 opener last week against Del City. El Reno moved to 4-1 on the season with a 21-0 shutout of the Eagles, to extend the Indians win streak to four.

Body Doubles each from Aiden Ellington and Laven Zeier highlighted a 10-hit attack as Union City High School’s baseball team held off a late rally by Verden for an 11-9 win. The Tigers are now 5-0 on the fall.

Body Union City High School’s fast-pitch softball team suffered an 11-2 defeat to Wayne last week despite logging seven base hits. The loss dropped the Tigers to 1-5 on the season. Union City went 7-of-23 (.304) from the plate with a double each from Kamryn Cook and Trestan Sutton.
