Upper weights deliver clutch wins in rally
Having watched a trip to dual state slip through its grasp in the late matches of the Class 5A District 3 Championships, the upper weights for El Reno High School’s wrestling team felt there was something to prove.
“For sure. We felt like we had to redeem ourselves. We felt like we had something to prove to ourselves and our team,” said senior Hunter Davidson.
Five days removed from the loss to Carl Albert, El Reno’s upper weights went 5-0 as the Indians rallied from a six-point deficit to defeat No.15 Noble 45-24 on senior night.
