Calumet exits state with quarterfinal loss to No.5 Moss
Calumet High School suffered an unexpected quarterfinal loss last week in the Class B Oklahoma State High School Baseball Championships, which were delayed two days due to wet weather.
The Chieftains, ranked fourth in the state, end their spring season with a 19-8 record following a 9-4 loss to fifth-ranked Moss.
Calumet fell behind 9-1 after five and a half innings before mounting a rally. The Chieftains scored three runs in the third inning after getting a single from Derrick Krantzman, a double from Kingston Arnold and an RBI-single from Kaleb Thiessen.
