A wake for Elliott Henry “Big Tass” Tasso Jr. will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with funeral services set for 1 p.m. Friday. Both services will be at Huber-Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial will follow at the Concho Cemetery.

Our mother, Delores S. Littlebear Hart (Ma’evehpota’e Red Leaf Girl) has walked on, reunited with her husband and our father, Samuel C. Hart. She passed on Jan. 19, 2023, surrounded by her children and brother and sister-in-law, at the age of 88 years.

Wake services for Harold William (Willie) Ratterman of Minco were held Monday in the Benson Memorial Chapel in El Reno, with Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Union City, with Rev. Kevin Ratterman officiating.

Mark Gilmore, 68, of El Reno, passed away in his home on Jan. 17, 2023, surrounded by his family. Mark was born to Thomas James and Polly Sue Gilmore in Okarche on May 9, 1954. He graduated from El Reno High School in 1972.

Thomas F. Coffey passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side on Jan. 15, 2023. Tom was born Sept. 30, 1932, in the midst of the Great Depression, to John W. and Katherine Reherman Coffey on the Coffey homestead eight miles west of Okarche.

Bina Janice Chapman was born in Okarche on March 8, 1932, to Homer and Flossie (Slusher) Faler. She died at home in El Reno on Jan. 10, 2023. Janice was a seamstress and attended Wesley United Methodist Church.

Memorial services for Jerry Allen Darter of Oklahoma City will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at Yukon First United Methodist Church. Jerry died Jan. 13, 2023, at the age of 90.

Funeral services for Bobby Glen Hart of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Walters, with burial in the Walters Cemetery. Services are under the direction Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. Bobby departed this life on Jan. 15, 2023, in Temple, Okla.

Funeral services for John Edward Townsend Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Concho Emergency Response Center with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial will follow at the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Marcella Dalton, 78, of El Reno will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Urn burial will follow at the El Reno Cemetery.
