Nancy Raylene Couch passed away Jan. 3, 2020, at her home in El Reno. She was born Oct. 5, 1943, in El Reno. She married Floyd Leon Couch on Dec. 21, 1959. Nancy retired from the Canadian County Assessors Office and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Memorial services for Rafaela B. Shields of Keller, Texas, were held Dec. 11, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clinton with Father Balaswamy Mandagiri officiating. Burial was in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Gary Joe Kubala will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in the El Reno Cemetery.

Funeral services for Lorena McCray of El Reno were held Friday, Jan. 3 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Dick Kurtz officiating. Burial was in the Canadian Valley Cemetery (McCray Cemetery) northeast of Calumet. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Stanley Simon Youngheim, 94, of El Reno, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019. The son of Herman and Estelle Youngheim, Stanley was born in El Reno on March 29, 1925, and was raised and schooled alongside his brother, Aaron, nine years his senior, in El Reno until he graduated in 1943.

Graveside services for Robert Duane (Sonny) Kuhlman Sr. of Yukon were held Tuesday in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Funeral services for Johnny Warren Verser of Minco were held Monday at Minco First Baptist Church, with burial following in the Evergreen Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Dr. Michael Furgeson, M.D., Ph.D., 68, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019. He was born Oct. 10, 1951, in Sherman, Texas. Michael married the love of his life, Tammi Furgeson, on St. Patrick’s Day 1990, sharing nearly 30 years of marriage.

Joye Earlene Reimers was born in Hinton on Aug. 14, 1927, to Samuel Earl and Darlena Ruth (Willingham) French. She peacefully departed this life on Dec. 22, 2019. Earlene attended El Reno High School where she played the coronet in the band and graduated in 1944.

Funeral services for Connie J. Shrum will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at Calumet Public Schools with Dr. Keith Weldon officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery west of Watonga. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
