Graveside services with military honors for Donald Roland “Kino” Littlehawk were held Wednesday at the Concho Cemetery with Rev. Waylan Upchego officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Donald died May 27, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Clinton, and graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1969. He attended Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College on a track scholarship.

Jerri Chavez

Funeral services for Jerri May Chavez of El Reno were held Thursday in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Delores Sanders officiating. Burial followed at the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Jerri died May 27, 2021, at Inspire Specialty Hospital in Midwest City. She was born Feb. 14, 1958, in Kingfisher. She was a nurse at the Kingfisher Hospital for many years.

Stanley Joseph Seely

Body

Stanley Joseph Seely or “Stanley Joe” was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Pratt, Kan., to George Henry and Anna Marie Seely. He died May 30, 2021, in Clinton. Stanley was a simple man who lived a simple life.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Sharon Sue, Martha Marie and Georgann; and a brother, Thad Henry Seely.

He is survived by his sister, Christy Jane; three sons, Stephen Seely, Allen Seely and Stan A. Seely; mother to his sons, Joyzelle Seely; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Woodson Whitebird

Memorial services for Woodson C. Whitebird will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at Front Line Ministries in Kingfisher. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Woodson was born Dec. 12, 1943, in Clinton. He graduated from Kingfisher High School and received an associates degree from Redlands Community College. He was an emergency medical technician and a driver for the Cherokee Strip Transit.

Russell Earl Huber

Funeral services for Russell Earl Huber will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 4 at the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Russell died May 26, 2021, at his home in El Reno. He was born March 15, 1961, in La Grange, Texas. Russell retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in 2016 after 34 years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy, Nebraska Cornhusker and San Antonio Spurs fan.

Russell loved his family and enjoyed his annual trips with his siblings. He enjoyed cooking family recipes and making salsa with his dad and brothers.

Nickey Lee Chechovsky

Nick or Grandpa Nick died May 4, 2021, after a lengthy illness. He was born May 11, 1935, to Earnest Nicholas Chechovsky and Laura Lorean Pilgrim in Oklahoma City. In 1955 he married Ruby Waynette Black. Waynette preceded Nick in death in 2018.

In 1956 with a new baby, they returned from California and opened a grocery store in Del City, “Nicks Lucky Dollar.” In 1959 they sold the store and moved to Yukon. Nick was a meat salesman for Harris Packing for over 35 years.

Graveside services for Doris Lavern Thomas (Walker) will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the El Reno Cemetery. Come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Doris was born May 25, 1930, in Calumet to Vula and Henry Walker. She had one brother, Louis Walker, and two sisters, Beatrice Walling and Juanita Marie Walker.

Doris married Albert “Junior” Thomas on Feb. 10, 1951, in Kingfisher.

Charles Sanders

Body

Funeral services for Charles Boyd Sanders will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1 at New Hope Baptist Church.

Charlie was born June 16, 1929, in Grandfield, and graduated from Cordell High School in 1946. Charlie began his career as an auto mechanic in Clinton and later moved to Oklahoma City where he was employed with Scott’s Chevrolet.

He moved back to Cordell where he owned and operated the Tastee Freeze Drive-In until 1968.

Terry passed away May 21, 2021, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born June 20, 1932, in Missouri.

James Ray Tech, 62, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on May 24, 2021.

James was born March 19, 1959, in Okarche to Fred and Virginia Tech. He grew up in Calumet and graduated from Calumet High School in 1977. James went to El Reno Junior College and Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and then returned to Calumet to work at Texas Oil & Gas.
