Jo Ann Hensley (Williams-Stansbury)

Jo Ann Hensley was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a Christian who loved God and family with her whole heart.

She went to her heavenly home surrounded by her family at the age of 73 in Oklahoma City, on Oct. 4, 2023, after her long battle of breast cancer.

She was born to Albert and Clara Williams of El Reno on April 6, 1950. Jo Ann has two sisters, Jeannie and Pam. She attended El Reno Public Schools Class of 1968.

Louise Knight

Louise A. Knight was born April 10, 1930, in Banner, and went to be with the Lord Oct. 3, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edlef and Margaret Hinricksen; husband, Walter Grigsby; daughter-in-law, Michelle Knight; great-granddaughter, Tiara Knight; one brother and two sisters.

Gregory Marshall-Criner

Funeral services for Gregory M. Marshall-Criner of Sicklerville, N.J., were held Saturday, Oct. 7 at Bradley Funeral Home in South Marlton, N.J., with Herbert L. Sanders III officiating.

Gregory passed away Sept. 29, 2023. He was born Jan. 2, 1950, in El Reno. He was a retired corporate sales manager/trainer, East Coast Region for Labor Ready Trublue Company.

Brandy Chavers

Body

A wake for Brandy Nicole Chavers will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Concho Emergency Response Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Officer Matthew Pierce, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Brandy died Oct. 1, 2023, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born June 23, 1980, in El Reno. She graduated from El Reno High School and was a homemaker.

JoAnn Hensley

Friends and family, it is with great sadness we share the passing of JoAnn Hensley (Stansbury), beloved mother, wife, grandmother and sister.

JoAnn, 73, of Mustang, formerly of El Reno, passed away Oct. 4, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9 at Faith Family Church on Sunset, El Reno. Come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 8 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Eleanor Renbarger

Eleanor (Hall) Renbarger passed away Sept. 29, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

Services celebrating her life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church with Revs. Dylan Ward and Allen Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wheatland under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Eleanor was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Oklahoma City to Nelson and Eulalia (Crowley) Hall. Eleanor was a homemaker and educator, teaching sixth grade at Lincoln School.

Frank Jenkins Sr.

Frank Edward Jenkins Sr., 83, of El Reno, passed away Oct. 1, 2023, in Oklahoma City.

Viewing and visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, with family present to greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at the El Reno Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Edith Clark

Body

Edith Odelene Clark, better known as Odie, passed away Sept. 27, 2023. She was born in Walters, Okla., on Nov. 7, 1921, to her parents, William Elbert and Robbie Lee Madora Nance.

She attended school in Walters where she met Marion Clark, whom she would marry in 1937.

The couple moved to California in 1938 where Odie worked in a machine shop during World War II making bolts for airplanes.

She later worked as a waitress, in an auto parts store, and eventually became a business owner.

Mary Isabel Hanneman

Services for Mary Isabel Hanneman will be held Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Huber-Benson Funeral Home Chapel.

Isabel entered heaven on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, in Norman with her children by her side.

Mary Isabel (Titterington) Hanneman was born Jan. 31, 1927, in El Reno to Samuel and Abigail (Haddock) Titterington. A descendant of immigrants from Northern Ireland, Isabel was proud of her Irish heritage. Named after her grandmothers, she was always known as Isabel and was quick to correct anyone who called her Mary.

Joe William McComas

Body

Joe William McComas passed from this life on Sept. 23, 2023, in El Reno. He was born Dec. 25, 1928, to Grover and Mabel (Jensen) McComas on the farm west of Minco. Joe attended Minco schools, graduating in 1947. He married Arlene (Sis) Feddersen on July 14, 1950, in Union City. They made their home in Minco where they were engaged in farming and ranching their entire lives. They instilled the love of farming in their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, in 2019.
