A certain weatherman, who shall remain nameless, reported a light frost early Monday morning in the western part of the state and further predicted snow Monday night.

Sunday morning was lovely but quite suddenly in the early afternoon, a fierce north wind blew in with a vengeance, sending us scurrying to collect blooming iris, honeysuckle, late daffodils and lilacs lest they be lost.

They are comfortably residing in a vase while the outside brick walkway is littered with tiny honeysuckle blooms.

Debra Donnell “Debby” Pence, age 66, passed away April 10, 2020, in Oklahoma City. She was born to Donald Clinton and Bonnie Mae (Paulk) Artherholt on Oct. 18, 1953.

Debby loved to dance and one of the highlights of her teenage years was dancing on “The Scene” at Channel 4 Studio hosted by WKY disc jockey Ronnie Kaye.

Debby attended Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City. She always loved fashion so while attending school she took a position in the health and beauty department at American Mutual Company (AMC).
