Norma Faye Andrews was called home to her savior on Sept. 14, 2021. She was brought into this world on July 31, 1946, to Mary Jane and Wallace Henry Smith in Jasper, Mo.

In her early years she attended Bass Chapel Church and was baptized there in the nearby river. She attended school in Strafford and married John Andrews when she was 18. To this union came their three children, Denise, Jonna and John. She was a homemaker for many years while supporting her husband in his ministry.

Memorial graveside services for Rose Marilyn Little, former Minco resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Marilyn died Sept. 15, 2021, at her home in Yukon. She was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Cherokee.

From the outside, one might think a three-week break would be a good thing for El Reno High School’s football team to get rested up and prepared for the start of District 5A-1 play.

It’s been just the opposite for the Indians.

El Reno was slapped with a COVID-19 quarantine after two players tested positive following contact with a Cache player in the season opener. The Indians lost not only two games, Piedmont and Weatherford, but nine days of practice time.
