Members of the Canadian County District Attorney’s Office and representatives of the Intervention and Crisis Advocacy Network (ICAN) wore purple on Thursday to show support for fighting domestic violence in Oklahoma. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Oklahoma had 91 people die from domestic violence in 2018. Statistics show 98 percent of the homicide victims did not receive domestic violence services.
