A report of a runaway child being found led authorities to the discovery of five children in a Piedmont home who had allegedly been abused.

The discovery led to the arrest of two adults.

Tina Marie Ramirez and Anthony Ibeziako were booked into the Canadian County Jail on complaints of child neglect. Ramirez was also booked on complaints of child abuse by injury, neglect and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Piedmont Police Chief Shayne Clark said the child was found about 45 minutes after Ramirez reported the child had been missing for 12 hours.

Ramirez was still jailed as of Friday, with bail set at $125,000. Ibeziako was released after posting a $50,000 bond.
