ER Wranglers hold meeting, set June ride

The El Reno Wranglers met recently for their monthly meeting, with Trisha Duncan leading members in the Pledge of Allegiance and Gary Sorrells offering prayer.

It was announced the club will be riding in the Chickasha parade June 25.

Members discussed the upcoming annual Wranglers Rodeo set for Aug. 26-27 at the Denny-Crump Arena.

Next Wranglers meeting is scheduled for July 7 at Adams Park.

CV Art Guild to host weavers

Weavers Guild OKC will be conducting a special hands-on demonstration during the Canadian Valley Art Guild’s monthly meeting set for 7 p.m. June 9 at Yukon’s First United Methodist Church. Visitors are welcome to attend.

Weavers Guild has a storefront located in Del City where members and guest artists conduct classes and workshops.
 

Redlands releases fall, spring honor rolls

Redlands Community College recently announced students named to the college’s honor rolls for both the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.

Students listed on the President’s Honor Roll have completed 12 or more credit hours and have earned a GPA of not less than 3.8, with no grade less than a B – excluding 0-level courses.

The Vice President’s Honor Roll includes students who have completed 12 or more hours of coursework and have earned a GPA of 3.5 to 3.79, with no grade less than a C – excluding 0-level courses.

Lamplighters OHCE hold May meeting

Lamplighters OHCE met recently at a local church with Joan Herr calling the meeting to order and offering prayer.

Carol Stine led the flag salute and gave a devotional titled “Strength for the Weary.”

Maxine Little read minutes from the previous meeting, with Patricia Morrison giving the treasury report.

It was noted that Janice Taylor attended the Canadian County commissioners meeting in which the commissioners proclaimed May 1-7 as OHCE Week.
