Body OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma’s public utilities and transportation agencies say they are prepared for dangerously cold temperatures, snow and ice moving into the state.

Body A Canadian County teen has pleaded guilty to an attempted hold-up last month at a local convenience store.Gary Justin Johnson, 18, entered that plea Jan. 9 to an amended charge of attempted larceny from a person after a plea agreement with the district attorney’s office.

Body Roxie Ellen (Quigley) Brookman, age 80, of El Reno, passed away Jan. 16, 2026, at her home.  Roxie was born June 12, 1945, in Elkhart, Kan., to Merle and Elma Quigley.

Body John Glenwaine Davidson, 77, of El Reno, passed away Jan. 15, 2026. He was born May 1, 1948, in Alice, Texas, to Corine Fowler and Glen Davidson.Glen graduated from Union City High School and was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran.
