Body STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.Some young students at Roblyer Middle School may have added another letter to the acronym. In their world, STEM is more like STEEM … which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Empathy and Math.

Body Students and staff from El Reno High School came up with a variety of items as presents for the 2024 Gifts for the Yanks program, which has run for 79 straight years at EHS.The presents were wrapped and delivered to the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City. 

Body The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has named T.J. Dill as chief engineer and Steven Gauthe as state maintenance engineer.El Reno’s Dill will serve alongside Brian Taylor, the current ODOT chief engineer in a co-capacity until Taylor’s retirement this coming summer.

Body In November, the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes hosted the three-day Fort Marion Symposium. The symposium is a tribute to the plains warriors and an effort to keep alive the history. The symposium opened on the site of the Washita Battlefield National Historic Site in Cheyenne.
