Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kurt Myers, and this is my second year as principal at Etta Dale Junior High School. It will be my 28th year in education. I have been a teacher, coach and administrator in school districts throughout Oklahoma and Texas. I can’t put into words my excitement for the continued opportunity to serve the stakeholders of El Reno Public Schools.

The sixth grade will be gaining Bailey Niles for science, and Larry Pullan, an El Reno graduate, will be teaching ELA.

In our amazing fifth grade, we have added Carmen Colmenero Rosberg for ELA, and another El Reno graduate, MaryAnne Whetstone, for history.
