Body El Reno’s A Small Town Weekend was Route 66’s largest event in Oklahoma last weekend. The weekend was packed with smokin’, spinnin’ and racin’ wheels. Keith Ward, president of the El Reno Cruisers, hosts of the event, estimated some 9,000 people were in attendance.

City to hike utility rates along CPI

Moore man killed after driving wrong way on I-40

Body A 22-year-old man from Moore was killed when he drove his vehicle the wrong way on Interstate 40, said El Reno police.Assistant Police Chief Kirk Dickerson said police started getting calls about a man driving west in the eastbound lanes at 2:49 a.m. June 9.
