The Canadian County Sheriff's Office, along with SOSA (Safe from Online Sex Abuse), conducted a three-day undercover Internet predator operation. The sting, in February, resulted in three arrests of adult males who were allegedly trying to meet children from Canadian County for sex.

The Canadian County Sheriff’s Office will host classes designed to help civilians know what to do in the case of an active shooter. The classes are open for the public and will begin in April. Sheriff Chris West said the classes will be held every other month throughout the calendar year.

Funeral services for David Bosler will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Union City, under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. David passed away Feb. 25, 2024, at home. He was born July 28, 1954, to Oscar and Faye (South) Bosler.
