Renowned Oklahoma artist and El Reno native Harvey Pratt, whose art has comforted art lovers and crime victims, will be inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame on Oct. 26. The ceremony and banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception.
A member of the Southern Cheyenne Tribe, Pratt will be one of 11 Oklahomans to be inducted during a banquet and ceremonies at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman.
Grace Lowe, 106, formerly of Burden, Kan., died Oct. 5, 2019, at Cumbernauld Village in Winfield, Kan. Mrs. Lowe was born June 13, 1913, on a farm southeast of Atlanta, Kan., to Claude and Georgia (Bright) Womacks. She received her early education at Baltimore District Grade School and graduated from Atlanta High School in 1931. After graduation, she worked in a combined cafe-grocery store and the bank.
Funeral services for Dena Mae Davis of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adam Pearson of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Calumet Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Dena passed away Oct. 5, 2019, at Grace Living Center in El Reno. She was born Aug. 2, 1926, in Omega and came to El Reno in 1996. She had attended the Omega Christian Church in Watonga.
James Bradley Wright, born in Edmond on Nov. 5, 1963, to James Stephen Wright and Rebecca Morrison Garcia, passed away Oct. 4, 2019, in Oklahoma City.
Brad was raised in Union City, graduating from Union City High School in 1982, and attended SWOSU.
He married Brenda Wolf in 1995 and had one son, Brian Anthony. Brad was an avid sports fan and loved the Atlanta Braves and OU Sooners.
Viewing and visitation for Mary Ann White will be held at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Prout officiating. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Mrs. White passed away Oct. 4, 2019, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in El Reno. She was born Dec. 1, 1942, in El Reno. Mary was a lifetime El Reno resident and graduate of Booker T. Washington School.

Mrs. Tomlin passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Grace Living Center with her family by her side. She was born April 6, 1928, in Lawrence County, Ky., and came to Oklahoma in 1978. Virginia had worked for many different nursing homes including Grace Living Center. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
