James Bradley Wright, born in Edmond on Nov. 5, 1963, to James Stephen Wright and Rebecca Morrison Garcia, passed away Oct. 4, 2019, in Oklahoma City.

Brad was raised in Union City, graduating from Union City High School in 1982, and attended SWOSU.

He married Brenda Wolf in 1995 and had one son, Brian Anthony. Brad was an avid sports fan and loved the Atlanta Braves and OU Sooners.

He spent many years in the oil field business throughout Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. His many friends and family members appreciated his humor and fun-loving personality. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife and his son; parents, Rebecca “Becky” Garcia and Steve and Wanda Wright; sister, Stephanie Allen; and many nephews and nieces.

A prayer service was held Monday evening at Huber-Benson Funeral Home with Deacon Lloyd Menz officiating. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday morning at St. John Nepomuk Church in Yukon with Rev. Don Wolf officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Union City under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
