After spotting Class 3A powerhouse Perry 15 points, El Reno High School’s wrestling team reeled off nine straight wins en route to a 45-25 victory over he seventh-ranked Maroons.
El Reno, ranked sixth in Class 5A, improved to 2-0 on the dual season.
The Indians got off to a slow  start in the upper weights as Kolt LaFoe (190) and Ruben Sharp (215) suffered falls and Ryan Sigler dropped a 3-1 match  to Cash Warren.
El Reno started its winning streak in the lower weights as Terry Guzman (106) scored a 4-0 decision over Ryker Erace, followed by a forfeit  for Foxx Kurtz (113) and a 4-1 decision by Diesel Baker (120) over Alex Meier.
Kylar Kurtz (126)  put El Reno out in front with a 1:55 fall over Carson Avery, followed by first- period pins from Hudson Brooks (132) and Dailey Jennings (138) to make it a 30-15 lead for the Indians.
Will Heger (144) had the fastest fall of the night, needing just 46 seconds to catch Chris Cordova on the mat. Brandon Harrison (150) added a wire-to-wire 8-5 win over Beau Berry.
Hunter Davidson (157) capped the run with a 2:11 fall over Sutton Bonhom, set up by a takedown off the second-period whistle.
El Reno led 45-15 before Jesse Hardy (165) suffered a fall and Spencer Davidson (175) dropped a 10-1 match to Caleb Owen.
