Services for Debbie Lynn Long will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28 in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Richard Hileman officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Warner Rogers Allen, 88, of El Reno will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29 at the El Reno Cemetery.

Come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

James Stevens

Body

Graveside services for James Wayne Stevens, former Cogar and Oklahoma City resident, were held Saturday, March 22 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

James died March 19, 2025, in Weatherford. He was born Aug. 6, 1958, in El Paso, Texas. He was raised in the Cogar community and later made his home in Oklahoma City. James was a salesman for Cardinal Pools for many years.

Robert Reese

Body

Services for Robert Wesley Reese will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24 at United Methodist Church in Calumet with Rev. Cydni Tillery officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Bob died March 12, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born July 25, 1942, in Calumet where he lived most of his life.

He earned a bachelor of industrial arts degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. His career included serving as city code enforcement manager of El Reno and principal of Calumet Public Schools.

Seth Harrison

Body

Seth Levi Harrison of Oklahoma City passed away March 15, 2025, at the age of 45. Seth was born in El Reno on March 21, 1979, but after his father, James passed away, they moved to Stonewall, where he grew up. His mother, Margaret (Garrett) Harrison remarried and his stepdad, Daryl Harrison adopted him.

Michael Gene Brown

Body

Michael Gene Brown (Mike) was born May 26, 1954, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to Charlene (Snider) and Homer Brown. He passed from this life on Friday, March 14, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. 

Mike graduated from Waurika High School in 1972 and later earned a bachelor’s degree from Cameron University. On February 1, 1980, he married Denise, and to this union two children were born: Tyler and Sarah.

Sandra Lee Armstrong

Body

Sandra Lee Armstrong of Edmond passed away March 1, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Sandie was born in El Reno on March 24, 1945, to Doris Jeanne Cornelius and Stanley Hartley. Her biological father, Stanley, never made it home from World War II. He died in battle in 1944. Her mother, Jeanne, married William Allen Thompson when Sandie was a toddler.

Jake was called home March 8, 2025, at Integris Baptist Hospital. He was born in El Reno on March 14, 1982, and graduated from El Reno High School. Following his passion, he went to WyoTech in Wyoming and graduated as a mechanic in 2002. Later he earned his General Motors Master Mechanic Certification. After college he came back to El Reno.

In 2004, he met the love of his life, Carrie. In December 2004, Carrie became Jake’s wife and in June 2005, they welcomed their son, Dalton, and started their life in Union City. Dalton is Jake’s pride and joy and built-in best friend.

Karol Ann Cecil

At home in Moore, Okla., early on Dec. 23, 2024, Karol Ann Cecil, age 81, was absent from her body and present with her Lord and Savior. She was born March 20, 1943, in El Reno, the second of twin girls to Valdo Watson and Oneida Lee Cox Watson. She was later adopted and raised by William Hubert and Oneida Cecil. 

Karol graduated from El Reno High School in 1961 and married her high school sweetheart.

William Eugene Roblyer

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Eugene (Gene) Roblyer, who passed away peacefully Feb. 27, 2025, at the age of 79. 

Gene was born Aug. 11, 1945, to Jack Arnold and Betty Janice Roblyer in El Reno.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his middle brother, Richard Arnold (2016); and his youngest brother, Gary Donald (2015).
