Celebration of Life memorial services for Ronald Neal Stidham will be held at 2 p.m. June 5, 2021, at Lehman Funeral Home in Wellston.

Ron passed away April 22, 2021, at the age of 66. He was born Sept. 30, 1954, in Midwest City to Kenneth and Bessie (Brown) Stidham. He spent most of his life in El Reno and Yukon. He graduated from Carl Albert High School in Midwest City.

Ron was married to Connie (Lyle) Stidham for 44 years. He worked at Exiss Universal Trailers for 23 years.

Thomas Mauchahty-Ware III

Body

Thomas Mauchahty-Ware III, 38, of Anadarko, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021. He was born April 28, 1983, to Thomas Mauchahty-Ware II and Jocelyn Lanell LittleChief at Lawton Indian Hospital.

Thomas grew up on Ware Road and attended Broxton Elementary in his younger years. His family later moved to Anadarko where he would eventually graduate from Anadarko High School in 2001.

Funeral services for Johnny Wayland LeBleu will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 3 in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Deacon Lloyd Menz officiating. Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Visitation will be at Huber-Benson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Johnny died April 26, 2021, at his home in El Reno. He was born Aug. 27, 1953, in Watonga. He was a general foreman for CASS Services and was a member of the Catholic church.

Funeral services for Anna Marie Hatfield were held Friday in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Waylan Upchego officiating Burial followed at the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. 

Anna died April 23, 2021, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. She was born June 23, 1958, in Clinton and graduated from Hydro High School in 1977. She worked at Western Electric in Oklahoma City for 15 years before substitute teaching at Western Heights Public Schools.

Memorial service for David Alton Langley was held Monday, April 26, 2021, in the Clyde Gene Miller Gymnasium at Maple School. Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

David passed away peacefully April 21, 2021, surrounded by his family in Calumet. He was born March 14, 1943, in El Reno to Alton and Alma Langley. He graduated from El Reno High School in 1961.

Graveside services for Jan (Anita) Van Fleet, 66, of Chico, Texas, were held Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Cowboy Church Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas, with Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.

Jan passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021. She was born Sept. 22, 1954, in El Reno to Roy and Jeanie Walbaum. She married Robert Van Fleet on Nov. 2, 1974, while attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Our Lord opened his arms to welcome Marilyn Sue Conner into His Kingdom. Marilyn passed away on April 20, 2021, in Little Rock, Ark., after a brief illness.

Marilyn’s memorial service will be Monday, April 26, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Frisco Cemetery, north of El Reno.

Julia died April 16, 2021, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born Jan. 8, 1955, in Geary. She was a certified nursing assistant currently living in Oklahoma City and a member of the First Nation of the Nazarene Church.

Mike Whinery

Former El Reno resident Mike Whinery died April 6, and was buried near Geary.

Mike was born in El Reno on Dec. 9, 1955. He was a graduate of El Reno High School and an accomplished trapshooter, having won numerous titles including Oklahoma Junior Champion. An avid outdoorsman, Mike farmed west of Geary.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Jordan Tramell; stepsons, Nick Leonard and Brandon Leonard; grandson, Blake Tramell; and his parents, Frank and Theresa Whinery.
