Gloria Kathrine Bleigh

Gloria Kathrine Bleigh passed away June 9, 2021, at the age of 86.

She was born to Talbert and Ella Grimes on Nov. 11, 1934, on Kickapoo Street in Tecumseh. Gloria and her family moved to El Reno when she was 7.

On Aug. 9, 1952, Gloria married the love of her life, Leslie Bleigh, and the two had three beautiful girls, Peggy, Kathy and Gaylyn. In her downtime, Gloria loved to crochet and do all kinds of crafts. She also loved to raise canaries.

Gary Dean Stokes

Body

Gary Dean Stokes, 74, died June 10, 2021, at SSM Health, St. Anthony Hospital-Midtown, Oklahoma City, after tests revealed multiple disease processes following an Ischemic Stroke.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 14 at Yanda and Son Funeral Home in Yukon, followed by burial in the El Reno Cemetery.

Jerry Parker

Memorial services for Jerry Parker of El Reno were held Friday, June 11 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carson officiating.

Jerry passed away in the comfort of his home on June 7, 2021. He was born Feb. 9, 1946, to William and Carmen Parker in Oklahoma City. He was raised in El Reno, where he attended and graduated from El Reno schools, and faithfully attended Wesley United Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Celena Jean “Jeanie” Karty were held Monday in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Thomas Cannon officiating. Burial followed at the Indian Mennonite Cemetery in Canton under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Jeanie died June 9, 2021, at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon. She was born July 6, 1943, in Clinton.

She made her home in El Reno and retired from the Lucky Star Casino with 17 years of service.

She was a full-blood Arapaho and a member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes.

George Mosher

Memorial service for George Ray Mosher of El Reno will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly Church of God with Pastor Mike Moss officiating.

Ray died June 7, 2021, in El Reno. He was born June 28, 1966, in Okarche, and attended El Reno High School. After school, he drove with Escort Service.

He was employed as a stocker with Beachler’s for over 20 years.

Ray is survived by eight stepchildren, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mark Oubrey Woolard Jr.

El Reno - On Saturday morning, June 5, 2021, Mark Oubrey Woolard Jr. entered his new life in heaven surrounded by his Savior Jesus Christ, brother, Jack, sister, Mary, and his beloved grandmother, Mrs. W.B. Woolard.

Mark was born in Durant, Oklahoma, on November 28, 1939. His mom died early in life and he and his brother and sisters were raised in the Baptist Orphanage Home in Waxahachie, Texas.

Cindy Phillips

Cindy Phillips (nee Ayers) went home to be with her Lord on June 2, 2021. Cindy was born in Santa Monica, Calif., on Sept. 26, 1955, to Emsley and Hope Ayers. The baby of the family, Cindy was very close to her older sisters.

At 18, Cindy relocated to Geary, where she met the love of her life, Jack. They were married in July 1974 and began their life together, eventually settling in El Reno. In 1982, they had a daughter, Sherry.

CPT (RET) William James Rinehart, 72, died at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

CPT (RET) Rinehart was a faithful husband, loving father, loyal soldier and celebrated veteran having achieved the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.

CPT (RET) Rinehart was born on June 2, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. and was raised and attended school in El Reno, OK. Upon graduating El Reno High School in 1966 he briefly attended the local Junior College before enlisting in the U.S. Army Infantry in 1967.

Fate Hammond

Body

Fate “Pebbles” Hammond was born in Oklahoma City on April 12, 1997, to Teresa Powell and Henry Richards.

She died June 1, 2021, in Oklahoma City.

Fate attended Windsor Hills Baptist Church at an early age. As a child, Fate enjoyed playing video games, riding bikes and playing with cousins and friends. She absolutely loved animals and always had several pets. She was known for rescuing stray dogs.

Fate attended Putnam Heights Elementary, Taft Middle School and Talking Leaves Job Corps in Tahlequah.

Funeral services for Jean Maxine Edmonson were held Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Rod Young officiating. Burial followed in the El Reno Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Jean died May 28, 2021, in El Reno. She was born April 4, 1927, in Topeka, Kan. Jean was raised in Kansas until 1940 when her family moved to Enid.
