Funeral services for Debra Geraldene Arnold were held Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Wilson Funeral Home, with burial following in the El Reno Cemetery.

Debra passed away Dec. 2, 2021, with her children by her side. She was born the eldest of two daughters to Harriet Maune and Calvin Gerald Arnold on May 19, 1959.

Debbie was born and raised in El Reno. She graduated from El Reno High School in 1977. She later received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from USAO in Chickasha.

Graveside services for John Glen MaGee were held Thursday, Dec. 2 at the Canadian Valley Cemetery in Calumet with Rev. Jim Clausing officiating.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6 at Brush Hill Baptist Church (109985 OK-150, Checotah, Oklahoma 74426) with Rev. Thom Chappelle officiating.

John Glen MaGee was born in Grandfield to Glen and Helen MaGee on Jan. 30, 1945, and referred to himself as the only son of an only son.

Wanda Lee Loyall

Graveside services for Wanda Lee Loyall were held Friday, Dec. 3 in the Yukon Cemetery with Rev. Paul Roach officiating. Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Wanda passed away peacefully Nov. 29, 2021, at her home with family by her side. She was born Jan. 21, 1939, in Union City to Carl and Carrie Pivniska.

She married Melfred Loyall on May 9, 1954, in Gainesville, Texas.

The couple made their home and raised their family in and around El Reno.

Wanda loved porch-sitting and coffee-sipping, sewing and working in her yard.

Roy Hayes Jr.

Graveside services for Roy Robert Hayes Jr. of Minco were held Thursday at the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Roy died Nov. 28, 2021, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. He was born June 17, 1930, in Binger. Roy was raised in the Binger/Cogar area helping on the family farm, and at the time of World War II, Roy as a young man of 14 would help with other family farms.

He later went into commercial construction and aided in building many large projects in Oklahoma City including the Myriad and Quail Springs Mall.

Charles Lonelodge Jr.

Funeral services for Charles Edward Lonelodge Jr. were held Thursday at the Concho Community Hall with Rev. Waylan Upchego officiating.

Burial followed in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Charles died Nov. 25, 2021, in Oklahoma City. He was born Aug. 6, 1958, in Oklahoma City. He was raised in Anadarko and Oklahoma City, attending Riverside Indian School and Old Classen High School.

He was a painting contractor and a member of the Native American Church.

Funeral services for Albert Frank Austin were held Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, at Red Rock United Methodist Church in Calumet with Rev. Tom Cooksey and Rev. Mike Price officiating. Burial was in the Red Rock Cemetery under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Geary.

Frank was born Jan. 31, 1937, in Canadian County to Robert Lee and Ruth O. (Ellison) Austin. He passed away Nov. 27, 2021, at his home in Geary at the age of 84.

Shirleen Kay (Wittkopp) Maass, 76, of Salina, Kan., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 20, 2021.

Shirleen was born to Gilbert and Sarahnee Ailene (Bishop) Wittkopp on July 21, 1945, in El Reno. Shirleen was baptized April 2, 1947, at her grandparents home in El Reno by Rev. A.C. Dubberstein. She was confirmed on March 22, 1959, at Trinity Lutheran Church in El Reno by Rev. Carl F. Schmidt. Her Confirmation verse was 2 Cor. 5:15 and song was “Thine Forever.”

Michelle Lee McIntyre

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Lee McIntyre of El Reno, on Nov. 22, 2021.

She was 50 years old.

Shelly was born in Kansas City, Mo., where she graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School. After having three children of her own, she married Mark McIntyre who made her family complete. After marriage she moved to El Reno with Mark where they raised their family together.

Shirley Tinsley Von Tungeln

Shirley Jean Tinsley Von Tungeln passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021.

Shirley was born in Okarche, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, on Nov. 9, 1948. As a young child, she attended Mountain View School located north of El Reno. At the age of 14 she started attending El Reno High School where she met the young man she would later marry. She was a graduate of Weatherford High School, Class of 1967.

A memorial service for Jerry Joe Moody will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 23, 2021, at the El Reno Cemetery. Flowers can be sent to Wilson Funeral Home.

Jerry passed away Nov. 11, 2021, in Oklahoma City. He was born Aug. 7, 1947, in El Reno to James and Ella Moody.

Jerry married Linda Carol Moody and from this union came their three children, Jerry Melvin, Tammy Lynn and Mandi Jo.
