Graveside services for Audy Wayne Anthony of Minco were held Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco.

Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Wayne died Oct. 27, 2025, at his daughter’s home in Newcastle. He was born Dec. 14, 1941, in Cogar.

He was raised in the Anadarko community, graduating from Anadarko High School in 1959. A resident of Minco for 56 years, he was a carpenter by trade.

Thomas Alan Duran, 41, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, passed away in the line of duty on October 24, 2025.

He was born March 2, 1984, in Moore, Oklahoma, to Gearld and Marilyn Duran. 

A 2002 graduate of Bethany High School, Thomas lived a life defined by faith, service and strength.

Jerry Jones

Body

Jerry Jones was born June 11, 1962, in Coffeyville, Kansas. He passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2025, at the age of 63. 

Jerry spent most of his life in Kingfisher, where he graduated from Kingfisher High School. After high school Jerry went on to work as a truck driver, which spanned for many years of his life.

Jerry could often be found cooking on his smoker, fishing in the tranquility of nature or engaging in his unique hobby of snake hunting, or spending time with family and friends.

Jeffery Carder

Jeffery Kent Carder of Henderson, Nevada, passed away Aug. 21, 2025. He was born Jan. 9, 1963, in El Reno.

He was the owner and operator of Carder Distributorship for Sara Lee.

Jeffery is survived by his wife, Teresa; sons, Jake Carder and Jason Rogers; and siblings, Kimberly Carder-Weldon and Tom Weldon of Arlington, Texas, Kent Carder, Brent Carder, Lincoln Carder, Lacey Carder Holden and Travis Carder.

George Fitzhugh Jr.

Graveside memorial services for George Lester Fitzhugh Jr. will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Watonga IOOF Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Home.

George passed away Oct. 24, 2025, at The Heritage at Brandon Place in Oklahoma City. He was born Jan. 26, 1945, in El Reno, and attended Geary schools.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. George worked for PepsiCo and later for Athenian Marble where he was employed for 20 years. In 1988, George founded Fitzhugh Termite and Pest Control.

Alexa Babb

Alexa Mechea Babb, born Dec. 6, 1988, passed away Oct. 24, 2025, at the age of 36. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alexa is survived by her mother, Angela Graves-Davis and stepfather, Tod Davis; her father, Archie Tallant; brother, Austin Tallant; sons, Jaden, Jesse and Julis; her loving husband, Joe Babb, and his children, Austin, Ashton, Christian and Madelyn. She is also survived by her grandparents, Sandra Graves-Holbrook and Ron and Alecia Graves; along with many other cherished family members and friends.

Funeral services for Cynthia Ann Laub will be at held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at Huber-Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Tara Dew officiating.

Cynthia died Oct. 26, 2025, at her home in El Reno. She was born March 24, 1959, in Henryetta.

She was an in-home caregiver for many years and supervisor of environmental services for hospitals including Parkview and Mercy.

Patricia Ann Williams

Patricia Ann (LaFoe) Williams went to be with Jesus on Oct. 21, 2025, at Spanish Cove in Yukon. She was born Aug. 24, 1944, in El Reno to Raymond and Mary Ann (Skoch) LaFoe. 

Pat graduated from Sacred Heart High School and was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

On June 20, 1964, Pat married Raymond “Butch” Williams at Sacred Heart Church. She spent her entire life in El Reno except for 15 months when they moved to Des Moines, Iowa, with the Rock Island Railroad.

Estelle Bushyhead

Body

Estelle Bushyhead of Edmond passed away Oct. 16, 2025, in Guthrie. She was born July 16, 1937, in Sentinel to Latrelle and Chester Mayrhofen.

She was raised in El Reno. In 1955, she married Robert Bushyhead. In 1965, they moved to Edmond where they were lifelong residents. Estelle’s life took a turn in 1979 when Robert suffered a major stroke, whereupon she became his constant companion and caregiver for the next 28 years. Together they enjoyed family and friends, and worked endlessly in their beautiful flower gardens.
