Max passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019. He was born May 10, 1935, in Yukon to Ernest and Delma Fuller. He graduated in 1953 from El Reno High School. He was a longtime Canadian County area resident. He served in the Army from 1956-1958. Max married Theleda Annette Norman on June 2, 1959.

Max was a railroad engineer for 44 years working in El Reno, Enid and Wichita Falls. He was a lifelong member of First Christian Church. He was active in El Reno Mobile Meals for 22 years, a member of the Audubon Society and the El Reno Bass Club. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, woodworking and birding, and recently collecting treasures.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Delma (Haun) Fuller.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Theleda (Norman) Fuller of the home; two sons, Monte Joe Fuller and wife, Cheryl of Spokane, Wash., and Bart Allen Fuller of El Reno; two daughters, Tracie Dawn Pruett of Piedmont and Saundra Gaye (Fuller) VanHorn and husband, Mike of El Reno; two sisters, Barbara Fuller Higdon and husband, John of El Reno and Glenda (Fuller) Vandruff and husband, Leon of Stillwater; five grandchildren, Kelsey Pruett, Landon Ray VanHorn and wife, Holly, Neeley Michael VanHorn White and husband, Kyle, Jordan Monti Fuller and fiancé, Daniel Brodmerkel and Jace Wayman Fuller; four great-grandchildren, Evan Malaer, Addison Harrell, Avery Holland VanHorn and Ryan Kent Stanley, and one on the way, Wade James White; numerous other relatives and many dear friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, at First Christian Church with Rev. Colton Lott officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
