Landon Zane Lerch
Landon Zane Lerch, age 30, of El Reno, OK, passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2025.
Landon was born on October 10, 1994, to Lane Lerch and Ann Wiggins. From an early age, it was clear he had a kind heart, a bright spirit, and a deep love for family and friends.
In 2021, Landon met the love of his life, Kaitlyn Pierce, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Their greatest joy was becoming parents to their beloved son, Liam Lerch, who is the light of their lives.
Landon will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, love for music and dancing, and his unwavering dedication to family. He never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved.
Even in his passing, Landon showed the depth of his love and generosity through organ donation. Because of his selflessness, several families have been given the gift of hope and healing. His heart now beats on in the life of a 19-year-old, a living reminder of Landon’s compassion and legacy.
Landon is survived by his wife, Kaitlyn Pierce, and son, Liam Lerch; mother, Ann Wiggins, and her spouse, Brad Byrne; father, Lane Lerch, and his wife, Sheila Stiner; grandmother, Cecilia Vietzke; sister, Lauren Lerch; sister, Chealby Stiner, and her husband, Johnathan Jones, and their children, Jensen and Jude; brother, Chris Byrne, and his spouse, DeShawna Baker, and their children, Bailey, Witness, and Loyal; brother, Shad Byrne, and his wife, Richelle Byrne, and their children, Lauren, Kolton, Carter, Sawyer, and Beckham; along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.K. “Papa” Wiggins and LuAlyce “Granny” Wiggins; George “PawPaw” Lerch and Barbara “Maw Maw” Lerch; and Bryon Vietzke.
Services will be held on September 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in El Reno. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and share memories of a life that, though far too short, touched so many.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to BancFirst in Landon’s memory.
Landon’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
