Sue found the calling that suited her servant heart when she discovered nursing.

She was a Certified Medications Aide and very knowledgeable in many areas of medicine and trained others who were coming up in the field of nursing.

She worked for Kingfisher Hospital for a few years before finding her place at Watonga Nursing Home where she stayed until retirement.

Sue became an active member of the community and belonged to many organizations. Sue had a heart for service and a loving attitude toward all, and as a volunteer she served many in her community. Her service to the community was recognized by the Chamber of Commerce when she received the Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award.

Sue was also an active member of Trinity Baptist Church. As a member of the church she helped to organize meals for families during funeral services and helped the Knitpickers to crochet hats for preemie babies at Baptist Hospital.

Sue was gifted with many talents and is best known for her crafting skills. She had a love of knitting, crochet and crafts. She often donated many of the things she created to those who were going through cancer treatments at Integris Cancer Institute.

Throughout her years she shared her love of these talents with many others, passing on skills that will last through generations.

Sue always had a loving heart and was known for sharing her love with all of those she met. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and spent as much time with them as possible. She loved to play games with everyone and was always a great sport. Her family will always remember her sweet laugh and kind smile.
