Visitation for Bertie Kellyene (Barlow) Roper will be held Wednesday and Thursday at Huber-Benson Funeral Home, with the family present in the chapel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Allen Carson officiating. Burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery.

Kellyene passed peacefully from this earth and into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at her home in Oklahoma City. She was born July 7, 1936, in Camden, Ark., to Arland Kelly Barlow and Edith (Womack) Barlow. She graduated from El Reno High School in 1954. She was a retired professional office manager in both the business and medical fields. Kellyene was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Roper, and her parents, Kelly and Edith Barlow.

She is survived by her son, Tony Hardwick and wife, Julie of Naperville, Ill.; her sister, Janet Deatherage of Yukon; stepdaughter, Darci Clift and husband, Mark of Edmond; stepsons, Clay Roper of Warr Acres and Vance Roper and wife, Pat of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, living in Oklahoma, Florida and Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, Kellyene and her family have respectfully requested donations be made to the Canadian County Historical Museum, 300 S. Grand, El Reno, Okla. 73036.
