Graveside services for Bernice Brogden of El Reno were held Sept. 27 in the Niles Cemetery with Mayor Matt White officiating.

Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Bernice Vanette (Witcher) Brogden, 91, was born Jan. 24, 1928, in Calumet. She died Sept. 23, 2019, in El Reno.

Bernice graduated from Hinton High School and was a longtime El Reno resident.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and attended Red Rock United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Brogden was a Doctor trained nurse for many years.

She is survived by her grandchildren and her many good friends.
