Georgia Mae Beard, 85, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away on November 29, 2025.

Born in Mangum, Oklahoma, to George S. and Sarah M. Lacefield, Georgia entered the world on February 26, though her birth certificate reflects a birthdate of February 27, 1940. 

She grew into a woman known for her intelligence, dedication and quiet determination. With her impeccable attention to detail and her kind and steady demeanor, she had a successful career, where she rose to the position of executive secretary.

Lisa Marie Foster of Piedmont passed away Nov. 26, 2025, at her home.

Lisa Marie Franks was born Aug. 20, 1985, in Oklahoma City. She spent her childhood in Oklahoma City and later attended school in Ardmore. Lisa graduated from Kingston High where she excelled in basketball. After graduation she was employed as a heavy equipment operator and later left the workforce to be a homemaker.

Clark Daniel Rother of Okarche, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on the evening of December 1, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. 

Clark was born November 4, 1963, in Okarche. He was the cherished son of Ed and Carol Rother, growing up on the values of hard work, community and faith that he carried throughout his life.

Evone Reynolds

Evone Reynolds, age 72, passed away Nov. 25, 2025, in El Reno. She was born May 27, 1953, to Wallace and Maybell Jones, who preceded her in death. 

She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Reynolds, whom she married on Nov. 7, 1993, as well as her brothers, Larry and Richard Jones.

Evone grew up in a large and loving family and is survived by her siblings, Tommy Jones, Teresa Vaughan, Lorrie Powell, Loran Jones and Ladonna Moore.

Steven Haskell Ratliff, 57, passed away Aug. 6, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and a deep appreciation for the things that make life meaningful – sports, stories, music, movies and heartfelt conversations.

Born July 13, 1968, Steven grew up with natural athletic ability and a life-long love of sports. He excelled in nearly anything he tried, but he found his greatest joy on the basketball court, the tennis court and the golf course.

Services for William Peter “Pete” Reding will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Calumet, with burial following in the Geary Sunset Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Home of Geary.

Pete passed away Nov. 18, 2025, in Ardmore. He was born June 29, 1947, in Geary.

Funeral services for Noel Ray Garrett of Cogar will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 at Canaan Baptist Church, with burial following at the Springcreek Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Noel died Nov. 21, 2025, at his home in Cogar. He was born July 24, 1945, at the family home in Cogar. He was a lifelong resident of Cogar, graduating from Binger High School in 1963. He was a farmer and rancher.

Dona K. (Clark) Mitchell, 86, a longtime resident of Bedford, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, in Lewisville, Texas.

Dona was born in El Reno on April 30, 1939, to Charles F. and Vera P. (Hackett) Clark. Dona graduated from El Reno High School in 1956. At the age of 17, she met the love of her life, Jerry Mitchell, whom she married in December 1957. They welcomed a son, Clark, in December 1958 and a daughter, Jerri Kay, in February 1964.

Services for Wanda Jeanette Mitchell were held Thursday, Nov. 20 at First Baptist Church of Union City, with burial following at the Evergreen Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.

Wanda passed away Nov. 16, 2025. She was born Aug. 21, 1938. A true homemaker at heart, Wanda was known for her talents as a baker, cake decorator and gardener. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Union City and Red Hat Ladies.
