Graveside services for George Michael Burdick, a former Minco resident, were held Friday, Oct. 25 at the Lawson Cemetery in Yale, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Mike died Oct. 19, 2024, in Tuttle. He was born Oct. 16, 1959, in Crossett, Ark. He had lived in the Minco community, later moving to Tuttle. He had been employed in the food service industry. 

Mike is survived by his mother, Gertrude Burdick of Edmond; his son, Stephen Roberts of Edmond; brothers, Kendall Burdick of Norman and Erik Burdick of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services for Betty Ruth Eaglenest will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Faith Family Church with Rev. Paul Roach officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Betty died Oct. 20, 2024, at her home in El Reno. She was born May 30, 1950, in Watonga to Orville and Nada Ruth Palmer Coffey. She was the purchasing director for Mercy Hospital and a member of Faith Family Church where she taught Sunday school for 32 years. Betty volunteered at Blessing Baskets and the Salvation Army and was a school mentor.

Joe Harold Haller

Body

Joe Harold Haller of El Reno went to heaven on Oct. 17, 2024. He was born Aug. 12, 1932, in Stuttgart, Ark.

He was the only son of Paul Merritt Haller and Rosa Varnadore Haller.

Joe was a 1950 graduate of Stuttgart High School where he enjoyed all sports, but especially football, and was proud to be a member of the 1949 State Championship team. He met his true love, Betty June Rubach in 1948. They were married March 15, 1952, and enjoyed 70 years of marriage before her death in 2022.

Robert Lamebull

Body

Wake services for Robert Joseph Lamebull will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 in the Huber-Benson Chapel, with funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 in the chapel. Burial will be at the Lumpmouth Family Cemetery in Geary.

Bob passed away Oct. 15, 2024, at his home in El Reno. He was born May 14, 1957, in El Reno. He graduated from Del City High School in 1975. Bob went to Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology College in Okmulgee and graduated with an associate in science in 1977.

Tina Willingham

Body

Services for Tina Rene Willingham will be at held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darryl Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. 

Tina died Oct. 14, 2024, at her home in El Reno. She was born Oct. 8, 1965, in Okarche. She was an accountant for Mach Resources Oil Company.

Tina is survived by her son, Ryan Chapman of Hightown, N.M.; daughter, Erica Daggs of El Reno; brother, Jerry Willingham II of El Reno; and five grandchildren.

Alan Provost

Body

A memorial graveside service for Alan Scott Provost will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche with Deacon Charles Krumsiek officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Alan died Oct. 8, 2024, at his home in Choctaw. He was born Feb. 14, 1961, in Lebanon, Pa., and graduated from Putnam City West High School. Alan worked in construction as a painter and was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Norman.

Body

A vigil prayer service for Joyce Ann Mueggenborg will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Both services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche with Rev. Zachary Boazman and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating.

Burial will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Roy Gene Tate of Yukon passed away Sept. 28, 2024.

He was born April 13, 1947, in El Reno to Marcus and Capitola (Elliott) Tate. He graduated from El Reno High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Deryl Nelson

Body

Deryl Lee Nelson passed away in his home on Sept. 29, 2024. He was born Oct. 28, 1956, in Lindsborg, Kan., to his parents, Norman Lee and Velma Jean Nelson. 

Deryl was a country boy at heart and enjoyed going to rodeos and was an excellent horseman.

An avid fan of western movies and TV shows, he watched Gunsmoke every day.

He loved football, especially his K-State Wildcats and the Kansas City Chiefs. Outside of football, he dearly loved animals and proudly owned five dogs: Chump, Doc, Red, Slim and Bob.

Services for Tara Lynore Allen of Minco will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Minco High School Auditorium, with burial following at the Pocasset Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Tara died Sept. 25, 2024, in Tuttle. She was born Aug. 7, 1974, in Falls Church, Va. She had lived in many places as a military child and graduated from Mustang High School in 1992. She was employed as a private caregiver, taking care of people in their homes.
