Sandra Deane Hales Bewley of El Reno peacefully went to be with our Lord on March 7, 2021. She was born Nov. 24, 1937, at Los Angeles General Hospital to Muriel Marie Sanders Hales and James Robert Hales.

Sandra was affectionately known as Sandy or Grandma Sandy for most of her adult life. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1955. She was a carhop at the time, and everyone loved her smile. She quickly transitioned to a lawyer’s office after graduation and shortly after she became a physical therapy assistant for years and loved it.

Graveside services for Jacqueline “Jackie” Sue Goodbear will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Concho Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Jackie passed away March 24, 2021, in Oklahoma City. She was born Nov. 9, 1961, in Oklahoma City.

Jackie was a furniture upholsterer and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Coleton’s beautiful soul was welcomed home with open arms by Grandpa Willard Oaks, Grandma Patsy and Uncle Charlie Oaks on March 21, 2021.

He came into this world on Aug. 17, 1998, the second son of Eric Oaks of Union City and Ragina Oaks of Mustang.

Services for Harvey Carl Ely of Okarche will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at First Christian Church of Perry with Rev. Josh Bell and Rev. Craig Vandeburgh officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Rock Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Harvey was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Pawnee. He graduated from Red Rock High School in 1949. In 1954, he received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture science from Oklahoma A&M. He established a home construction business, Cimarron Construction, in 1959 in Albuquerque, N.M.

Fred David Singleton

Body

Fred David Singleton, 84, went home to be with his Savior on March 18, 2021. Fred was born Feb. 24, 1937, in Kansas City, Mo., to Clinton and Anna Singleton. He married his high school sweetheart, Helen Dolezal, on Sept. 3, 1960, in El Reno, and they shared 60 years of marriage together.

Fred graduated from El Reno High School in 1955. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned a degree in Business Advertising in 1959. He also served in the Oklahoma Air National Guard from 1959 to 1965.

Lawrence L. Widener

Body

Lawrence L. Widener was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Jefferson, Okla., to Leonard and Maurine (Hensley) Widener. He passed away March 17, 2021, in Hydro with his family by his side.

Larry graduated from Oilton High School in 1955 and went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree in education from Oklahoma State University. He taught general and physical science, math, biology and computer programming in Tulsa, retiring in 1993.

Johnny Lee White

Johnny Lee White was born May 24, 1957, in Chickasha, and died March 7, 2021, at his home in El Reno.

He was a graduate of El Reno High School and a graduate of Canadian Valley Vo-Tech class of welding.After graduation, Johnny worked for Canadian County as a heavy equipment operator where he was tutored by his grandfather, the late Raymond Stas, during his early years with the county. He later worked as an independent master welder and worked for an oil field repair company.

Graveside memorial services for Joe Carl Ray were held Thursday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Joe passed away Feb. 5, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born Dec. 19, 1935, in Okemah. Joe graduated from Del City High School in 1955. He moved to Minco from Oklahoma City in 1968. Joe served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a supervisor for ATT until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.

Viewing for Fred Singleton will be held on Wednesday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at Bill Merritt Funeral Home in Bethany.

Mr. Singleton passed away March 18, 2021.
