Graveside services for Roger Dale Kuhlman, a former Minco resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.
Roger passed away Sept. 22, 2021, in Yukon. He was born Jan. 20, 1956, in Chickasha.
He was raised in the Minco/Cogar communities and attended Minco schools.
Roger worked in construction as a finish carpenter for 40 years and as a welder previous to construction. He was a member of Hazel Dell Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Dale Alfred Cassel will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 at Wesley United Methodist Church. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Dale was born July 1, 1936, in Verden during the hottest summer ever recorded in Oklahoma history. His mother wet cloths to hang in the windows to keep newborn Dale cool.
Growing up on a farm in rural Oklahoma, Dale was a hard-working young man who enjoyed raising animals and tending crops in their fields. His work ethic as a youth greatly influenced the man he would become.
Bobby A. Johnston was peacefully called home to his Lord and Savior at home with family on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021.
Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother, David and Opal Johnston; brother, David (Davey) Johnston Jr.; mother in-law, Ruby Willis; aunt, Lucy Garcia; and brother-in-law, Mike Willis.
Bob is survived by Rosi Johnston, his beloved wife and best friend of 64 years. He is also survived by three children, Mike D. Johnston and wife, Shari of Yukon, Michelle R. (Johnston) Cosner and husband, John of Waynesboro, Pa., and Adrian Johnston of the home.
Funeral services for Richard Edward Baker of Midwest City were held Thursday, Sept. 23 at Barnes and Friederich Funeral Home with Kurtis Ivey officiating. Interment followed in the Moore Cemetery.
Richard died Sept. 17, 2021, at his home. He was born Nov. 21, 1942, in Altus. He was a retired professor of chemistry, physics and general science at Redlands Community College for 27 years. Richard was a loving father and husband.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Mildred Baker.
Graveside services for Helen Wartchow will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Union City under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Helen died Sept. 20, 2021, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born Jan. 8, 1941, in Blanchard, and resided in Oklahoma City. She was retired from Lucent Technology.
Memorial services for Victoria Gene “Vicki” Southerland of Oklahoma City were held Friday at First Baptist Church in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.
Vicki died Sept. 20, 2021, at Norman Regional Hospital. She was born May 22, 1966, in St. Louis, Mo.
Vicki grew up in the Loyal community and attended Lomega schools. The family relocated to Okarche where she attended high school. She moved to Mountain Home, Ark., earlier this year and then back to Oklahoma City. She worked as an office manager.
Norma Faye Andrews was called home to her savior on Sept. 14, 2021. She was brought into this world on July 31, 1946, to Mary Jane and Wallace Henry Smith in Jasper, Mo.
In her early years she attended Bass Chapel Church and was baptized there in the nearby river. She attended school in Strafford and married John Andrews when she was 18. To this union came their three children, Denise, Jonna and John. She was a homemaker for many years while supporting her husband in his ministry.
Memorial graveside services for Rose Marilyn Little, former Minco resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.
Marilyn died Sept. 15, 2021, at her home in Yukon. She was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Cherokee.
Graveside services for Michael G. Toahty Sr. were held Saturday at the Sunset Cemetery in Geary with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
