Quincy NiKee Jones

Quincy NiKee Jones Jr. passed away May 22, 2026, at the young age of 19. He was born in Oklahoma City on March 12, 2007, to Quincy NiKee Jones Sr. and Jessica Leadine Carter. 

Quincy started pre-kindergarten in El Reno and continued his education at El Reno Public Schools, where he graduated on May 16, 2026. During his senior year, Quincy also attended and graduated from the Canadian Valley Tech, completing his underground utility locating technician program, along with earning his National Technical Honor Society recognition. 

Quincy loved sports his whole life, playing baseball, soccer, powerlifting and football, and receiving several awards and trophies for his accomplishments. 

Quincy attended Light Your World Church for most of his life and was baptized as a young child along with his brother, Qwae Jones. Quincy loved helping with church events, and his favorite was delivering baskets of love to those in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Quincy also loved getting to drive the grain buggy during harvest and was Jim’s helper when the equipment needed to be worked on. Nana always called Quincy the engineer of the family. 

Quincy NiKee Jones Jr. was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Mattie Jones; his aunt, Shauna Moran; great-grandparents, Ted and Laverne Waggoner; and cousins, Bradley Jones and De’joyis Jones. 

Quincy is survived by his parents, father, Quincy NiKee Jones Sr. of Oklahoma City; mother, Jessica Leadine Carter and husband, Darry Carter Jr. of El Reno; sisters, Qyra Jones, Brooklyn Carter and Londyn Carter, and brother, Qwae Jones; and seven other step-siblings, all of El Reno; great-grandma, Kathryn McCaslin of Tipton; grandparents, Bonita McCullough of Elk City and Jim and Pattie Waggoner of El Reno; aunts and uncles, Shena Harrison, Brandon Jones, Matthew Jones, Josh Moran, Jennifer Moran, Kleisehn Porter, Maria Porter and Ethan Waggoner; and cousins, Jhournee Reese, Rhaziah Reese, Avier Jones, Baret Porter, Myles Porter, Garren Porter, Westyn Porter, Cameron Moran and Coalton Paxton. He is also survived by numerous other family members. 

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 28 at Memorial Stadium in El Reno with Pastor Kurtis Ivey officiating. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. 

Quincy was also known as Bub, since his older sister was only 1-year-old when he was born and couldn’t say Quincy, so many called him Bub. He also went by the name Dub, which was a nickname made by his close friends.
