Remodel plan eyed to house new judge

Body An office space has been identified for a new Canadian County special judge.County commissioners discussed a plan for county maintenance personnel to remodel an area on the second floor the Canadian County Judicial Building for another judge and bailiff.

Body Virginia Phelps, who made her home in Yukon, Oklahoma, was born in Tuscola, Kentucky, on Aug. 20, 1933, the daughter of Jennings Brian Jordan and June Olive Adkins, who preceded her in death. She died peacefully in her sleep June 6, 2025.
