Judith Margaret (Huddart) Roach stepped from her earthly life to begin her eternal life in heaven on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024.
Judith was known by many as Judy, Mom, Grandma, Oma, Mrs. Roach and Momma Roach.
She was born to Raymond T. and Marion (Alder) Huddart in Oklahoma City on Aug. 14, 1935. The Huddart family moved to El Reno when Judy was a small child.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of El Reno where she taught children’s Sunday school for many years and Vacation Bible School.
Sacred Heart students celebrated Halloween with residents of St. Katharine Drexel Retirement Center last week.
Services for Myrna Delores Shook of Yukon, a former Minco resident, were held Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Hazel Dell Baptist Church, with burial following at the Gracemont Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

El Reno police dispatcher Jodi Wolff has been honored for her dedication to her department.
Last week the Oklahoma City Thunder and OG&E celebrated Wolff by presenting her with the October OG&E Safety Partner Award.
A reception was held in her honor at the Public Safety Center.
Thunder representatives, including Rumble, and OG&E officials as well as Police Chief Ken Brown and City Manager Matt Sandidge took part in the award presentation.
Wolff was also recognized at the Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs game.
At halftime of his 45th birthday, El Reno High School head football coach Russell Cook looked well on his way to opening up a gift in the form of a playoff berth.
Cook’s Indians had the momentum and a three-point lead after a late second-quarter field goal and would open the third period with the ball.
Unfortunately, that gift will have to stay on his wish list for another year.
For the second time in three weeks, El Reno squandered a halftime lead with no second-half points en route to a 20-10 loss to Noble. The setback dropped the Indians to 3-6 on the season.

Surviving five ties in the first half, Redlands Community College women’s basketball team outscored Lamar College 34-27 over the final two periods to polish off a 61-51 season-opening victory.
Redlands led 27-24 at the break, but outscored the Colorado visitors 25-12 in the third period to pull away.
The Cougars closed the game shooting 29 percent (19-of-65) from the field which included a 5-of-32 effort (16 percent) from the 3-point arc.
The Cougars were 18-of-23 (78 percent) from the free-throw line.
Henry Sanchez led a group of five double-digit scorers with 29 points as Redlands Community College men’s basketball team kicked off the 2024-25 season with a 98-73 win over Neosho County.
The win over the Kansas-based school came off 46 percent (35-of-77) shooting by the Cougars, who made 8-of-26 (31 percent) shots from the 3-point arc.
Sanchez’s 29 points came off 11-of-18 shooting with five 3-pointers and two made free throws. He added a double-double with 10 rebounds and four assists.
